Howie Raff, Ph.D
COO
Howie Raff brings over 25 years of biotechnology research and development expertise to APT. Howie previously served as the Head of West Coast Operations for The Biologics Consulting Group and held executive positions for Chiron Corporation, including the role of Vice President, Development Management. He also spent 11 years in discovery research and development for Bristol-Myers Squibb. Howie has been involved with the development and approval of several drugs in the U.S. and Europe, including: CTLA4-lg, Proleukin, Menjugate vaccine and Cubicin. He earned a Ph.D in immunology from Washington State University and earned a fellowship from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of California – San Francisco. He currently serves on the board of LifeGen Technologies a Madison, WI based biotechnology company focused on discovering gene and biochemical changes that occur during aging and caloric restriction.
